The Nest! Foundation has the objective of compiling grassroots knowledge on community building, stimulating the recognition of grassroots knowledge and making it transferable.
Currently we are coordinating a learning network about the 9 Dimensions of a community space. These pictures give an impression of the activities in 2023-24
The 2025-26 project is still ongoing. Some impressions have been posted on the Epale-group of the project.

Mothers in the Center – Mother Centers
This book started off the Mother Center movement. Written by 50 women of the first Centers, it inspired generations of young parents to say: “This is what I want in my town” and “I can do this too”. You can download the English translation here. the book is also available in German.
For USA and other countries who do not use A4 paper of size: the book is also available formatted for “legal” paper. It consists of separate downloads for the cover page (that you can then print in color) and the book itself (watch out this is a 42 Mb download)
